$140 per 1 hour session.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance in my practice and remain an out of network provider. Generally, clients pay me for sessions and if they are pursuing reimbursement with their insurance provider, I can provide a receipt of services on a monthly basis.
Nobody's insurance coverage is the same; coverage depends on contracts worked out between your employer and insurance provider. In order to see if your insurance will reimburse our sessions, you must check with your insurance carrier by calling the number for member services on the back of your card. Check your coverage carefully
- Do you have out of network mental health benefits?
- How many sessions per calendar year does your plan cover?
- What is your deductible/how much do you owe?
You should always consider your privacy and the impact of having insurance reimburse for treatment of a mental health condition.
Future attempts to get disability and/or life insurance could be impeded, or you could end up with higher premiums. Individuals or couples who hope to adopt domestically/internationally could be affected by having a mental health diagnosis attached to medical records. Often, clinicians are forced (by the insurance provider) to assign a diagnosis code that may not accurately describe the symptoms you are experiencing. Once insurance is involved, a diagnosis code will be attached to your medical records.
Reduced Fee
Reduced fee or sliding scale services are available on a limited basis.
Payment
Cash, check or credit card via Ivy Pay. I do accept HSA cards.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
